Physical therapy services at Novi DPT, LLC; Livonia DPT; and DPT Athletics sites can be accessed through direct access or through prescriptions from qualified healthcare providers.

“Direct access to physical therapy services” means that a person may be evaluated and treated WITHOUT the requirement of a prescription. Under current Michigan law, patients may access physical therapy care for up to 10 visits or 21 days, whichever is shorter, prior to requiring a prescription from another provider. Care under these circumstances is provided at the discretion of our clinical and administrative staff.

*Additionally, some insurances may require a referral for pre-authorization of coverage.

When you make an appointment with us we'll verify your insurance for you, explain how your insurance applies to physical therapy and what exactly that means, and what your out-of-pocket responsibilities will be.

This is a partial list of the most common insurance plans we accept.

We also accept Workers Compensation, Auto Insurance, and hundreds of other insurance plans.

Services provided include Workers Compensation, Work Hardening, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and Pre-Employment Screenings.
